Our possessive nature spoils things, our attachments blind; they bind and hurt us so we need to let go of our old ways and become free because this detachment is our liberation. When a person loves something he sets it free, this is love. Love is beyond the mind, beyond mere words, and is expressed in silent sacrifice. Jesus loved us and died for us to show us the way. His liberation from the earth glorified God and showed us the way. He loved, sacrificed and died for everyone demonstrating his love for God, everything and the unity of pure consciousness. The union between Christ consciousness and pure consciousness is so intimate that no creature could ever detect a difference between them. Christ is demonstrating the union between our soul and God because our soul is nearer to God than it is to our body. We have higher and lower powers just like Jesus because we enjoy the bliss of eternity while, at the same time, suffering and struggling here on earth. We should not inhibit the function of our consciousness, but train, offer it up to God and be in harmony with it at all times. Jesus showed us how to assign suffering solely to the body, the lower faculties and the senses so our consciousness can be plunged into the pure consciousness of our Lord. He showed us how to love God in all things so the more purely and simply we love in unity the more thoroughly our deeds will wash away our sins and purify our minds. Jesus meant for us to follow him intelligently and spiritually so not to be manipulated by literal interpretations that lead us away from love. Following Christ consciousness in our own way depends on our love not our superficial actions. It is love that blots out sin and knows no fear so there is nothing else a man can do that is as beneficial as loving everything and everyone. When this happens, it is no longer we who love, but Christ that loves through us, it is no longer our bodies that live, but Christ consciousness that lives within us. This is the discovery of our true selves in Christ consciousness. Jesus died for us and reconciled us to his Father so Christ consciousness could live in us and unify us with God.

“God has revealed this wisdom to us through the Spirit. The Spirit scrutinizes all matters, even the deep things of God.” —1 Corinthians 2:10

To understand spiritual things, we have to rely totally on the Holy Spirit because the Spirit instructs us in everything (John 14:26), We live in the Spirit and it is the major part if not all of our understanding.
(2 Corinthians 3:15-17) 15Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts. 16But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 17Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

All the Sacred Books are special and are not ordinary writings because they have been inspired by the Holy Spirit and have extremely spiritual and truthful contents. They are mystical and difficult in many ways. If we have the freedom of Spirit, we see this in all the sacred teachings, if not we have a tendency to contract to the one thing we have studied intellectually.

(1 Corinthians 2:10-16) “The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. 11For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man’s spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. 12We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us. 13This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words.[a] 14The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15The spiritual man makes judgments about all things, but he himself is not subject to any man’s judgment:
16″For who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct him?”[b] But we have the mind of Christ.” The mind of Christ I feel can be expressed as Christ consciousness, but many Christians would call this New Age as if it is bad. It is not negative.

God is not separate from anything; He is the Life of our life, the Reality within our own reality and the Soul within our being. Our union with God can be witnessed in our minds starting with the replication of the union between Christ consciousness and God’s pure consciousness. This is the bringing of our own minds and wills into agreement with the mind of Christ, a consciousness where we experience pure consciousness and get submerged in the loving will of God. It starts us on a journey toward a new consciousness where Christ consciousness purifies the mind so it becomes free, not worried and unattached because it doesn’t want its own way, but the Lord’s way. Christ said, “Lord let Thy Will be done.” This simple phrase encourages the thoughtful and focused application of a profound spiritual practice that leads to untold reward by directing the creative force within to pure consciousness. It establishes a deep awareness of our unity with the power of God so we experience a greater good as a result of limiting our negative attitude. This positive awareness applied to specific needs in our daily life changes our circumstances helping us to pass from hardship and desire into a greater freedom than we have ever known. As we enter into a greater consciousness astonishing things happen that we thought were not possible, but we must take an honest look at our negative thoughts and let them go. Having the determination to expand our positive thoughts and take charge of our life will eliminate many problems, negative beliefs and unhappiness. We must have the courage to move forward into Christ consciousness where we are free from pain, desire, fear, conflict and worry. May we all have the freedom of Spirit to not be afraid and research our true being in every corner the Spirit takes us and not cower into tradition, physical symbols or behind people who preach the restricting of Spirit just because it comes from a source we are not accustomed to. The Spirit enters where the door is open and honors a closed mind by not entering where it is not welcome.

Christianity is reverent and alive if one listens to the call from inside. The dull habit of preaching, giving sermons, patronizing, condemning or judging others as insufficient is the ego talking about Christ, not the religion of Christ. Descriptions about Jesus are not the spiritual ideas Jesus described. The experience of joy and the supernatural realization of Christ are not about sins, hell or Satan, but the glorious energy of the soul. A healer doesn’t rifle through the lives of others, but brings one from the outer personality to the inner-self arousing one from immaturity and prejudice to wholeness.

Christian Mysticism

I feel our intellect, imagination and intuition are vital to the understanding that Jesus is alive in consciousness, which I call Christ Consciousness. The three i’s above point in the direction of God’s pure consciousness so God ceases to be an object and becomes an actual experience. This is where the formless becomes visible and the pure consciousness of God becomes expressed in the unit consciousness of an individual in the form of revelation. We appreciate the teachings of sacred scriptures because they inspire us to rise and go beyond the mind-body-consciousness. The revelations our intellect, imagination, and intuition absorb inspires us to become one with divine harmony and cosmic progression.

Modern revelations of Truth are in complete harmony with the Truth in spiritual scriptures. They come from the same source. Spiritual scriptures and the words from recent revelations enhance and clarify each other. They help us to translate, comprehend, and apply the knowledge in the ancient scriptures.

When one leaves, God visits and leaves behind revelations.

Blinded by Belief

God is present in all of his creation and present in all our knowing and our knowledge. Our communion with God affects our interpretation of the Bible.

Christians being slaves to sin, are not use to exercising self-control in such a way that they could respect others. God accepts us where we are and teaches us about doing the right thing as He heals us from the effects of sin. In the early stages of our spiritual journey, we are happy to be slaves of the living God, sometimes as slaves we start concentrating too much on the do’s and don’ts and lose sight of God Himself.

I feel God doesn’t want us to continue being slaves? As we go deeper into our selves, we are invited to be God’s friends, once we know the Father.

John 15:15 (King James Version)
Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.
God wants us to be so settled into the truth that we cannot be moved.

We must be able to think through all situations as if we had the mind of Christ in us, if we want to stop being a sinner and a slave.

1 Corinthians 2:16 (King James Version)
For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind of Christ.

Differences of opinion are among the followers of Christ. We have no right to blame others, Christian or non-Christian as God is present in all creation as stated above. We have no right to despise our brothers and sisters as ignorant and superstitious. We can learn from everyone as God is present in them. The scrupulous Christians find fault with others as they usurp the place of God. They take upon themselves to judge the thoughts and intentions of others, which are out of our their view. They can’t see behind another person’s eyes. Christians often despise and condemn each other and non-Christians about doubtful matters that do not pertain to themselves. They have become slaves to words and not the Spirit of God. I don’t feel we want to clone Christians, let everyman think and enjoy the thoughts that are present in God’s pure consciousness according to the plans Our Lord has for that individual.

King James Version (KJV)
Romans 14:5
One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.

Spiritual Evolution

To overcome the feeling of self and self-preservation, which is one of the first instincts of nature, one must overcome the force of selfishness. Selfishness is like the force of gravity, it pulls us down; therefore, to surmount it reveals enlightenment, a condition of selflessness that establishes one in the all-pervading consciousness of love. This implies a passionate knowledge of one’s unity with all, which Jesus illustrated to us by laying down his life for our souls.
The love Jesus showed us is naturally creative and includes everyone. If we work selflessly for humanity, we will also experience the size and the positive nucleus of this all-pervading consciousness. This love or consciousness is in everyone and everything although it is not expressed in the same way and can be expressed either positively or negatively. This is one reason why it is necessary to experience human love and happiness so it is possible to know divine love. Until one has the ability to love and see that it exists in every cell of everything and everybody, one will remain in an inferior state of spiritual evolution.

Silence

God visits me when I leave in silence.    Christian Mysticism

Love comes to us through the enfoldment and revelation of our own inner being. “Love your brother as yourself,” in this work we must first know and love ourselves. It takes the knowing of this truth to make pure consciousness evident. All harmony in our experience is the direct result of the activity of love in our consciousness. This does not consist in making statements or repetitions of love, but the awareness of love and pure consciousness in all things. The infinity of God appears when we see pure consciousness in God’s infinite forms and varieties, God as omnipresent, the pure consciousness of God in the individual consciousness and in our own. This love must be realized, we cannot just simply preach how to love God then strive to defeat other faiths or religions.

Spiritual Awareness

The mind is tender and is easily harassed in the noisy confusion of life so we need to discipline our minds to keep peace with our soul. In this way we can continue to wonder and see beauty in the world even with its fraud, strife and broken dreams. The person who does not recognize his soul, who does not commune spiritually is but a pair of glasses without an eye, a person with an intellect who is not aware of spirituality knows all the prices, but not the value of life.

The exceptional finding that there is one God awaits each one of us, giving us the ability to change our lives for the better. When we understand the true meaning of one God, our concept of god expands and builds a greater awareness of God’s presence within us. It is a journey towards unity and a new way of living. As we progress on this journey to oneness, we find our lives gradually transformed in a positive way, which includes both the conscious and the unconscious. This balance brings the discovery of a new reality along with a balance between the rational and the irrational, between the intellect and instinct, and between the conscious mind and the unconscious. As we acquire unity, we see that nothing exist in isolation so the nature of our being is unity, a unity of body, mind and spirit. Wholeness or holiness can be achieved with a watchful mind and the knowledge that everything is united in God, if old fears, doubts and prejudices wear away to make room for new ideas and understanding.

Each layer of the mind is not finality in itself, but a link in a long spiral ascent; therefore, even the more primitive layers of the mind are linked with the soul. The last layer in this ascension to the soul is the fifth layer of the mind or Selfless Mind. It is a great mistake to think that the fifth layer and the condition of being a saint depends on any definite religious belief or system. It doesn’t even suggest a strict morality that is founded on the fear of God, a God that would take revenge and is prone to anger and harsh punishment. The peace and serenity found on the faces of the wise that have achieved Selfless Mind is built on the principle that being true to their path they are doing the will of the Father; they belong to all. This is the highest moral standard that keeps them free from any moral or mental corruption and any negative influence from others.

Our great purpose in life is then to develop love and the enfoldment of our spiritual consciousness. For that purpose it becomes necessary for us to see ourselves not as body parts, but in a state of consciousness, appearing to others as a body. We cannot see love or consciousness, but we must understand that we exist as consciousness and become aware of this reality. Love comes to us through the enfoldment and revelation of our own inner being. This is what Christian Mysticism expresses. When love touches our consciousness, it makes us one with all life. Love comes from the visible and invisible teachers within our own consciousness; therefore, we must open our consciousness to the infinite Power, the universal God and find it operating in our experience.
