Our possessive nature spoils things, our attachments blind; they bind and hurt us so we need to let go of our old ways and become free because this detachment is our liberation. When a person loves something he sets it free, this is love. Love is beyond the mind, beyond mere words, and is expressed in silent sacrifice. Jesus loved us and died for us to show us the way. His liberation from the earth glorified God and showed us the way. He loved, sacrificed and died for everyone demonstrating his love for God, everything and the unity of pure consciousness. The union between Christ consciousness and pure consciousness is so intimate that no creature could ever detect a difference between them. Christ is demonstrating the union between our soul and God because our soul is nearer to God than it is to our body. We have higher and lower powers just like Jesus because we enjoy the bliss of eternity while, at the same time, suffering and struggling here on earth. We should not inhibit the function of our consciousness, but train, offer it up to God and be in harmony with it at all times. Jesus showed us how to assign suffering solely to the body, the lower faculties and the senses so our consciousness can be plunged into the pure consciousness of our Lord. He showed us how to love God in all things so the more purely and simply we love in unity the more thoroughly our deeds will wash away our sins and purify our minds. Jesus meant for us to follow him intelligently and spiritually so not to be manipulated by literal interpretations that lead us away from love. Following Christ consciousness in our own way depends on our love not our superficial actions. It is love that blots out sin and knows no fear so there is nothing else a man can do that is as beneficial as loving everything and everyone. When this happens, it is no longer we who love, but Christ that loves through us, it is no longer our bodies that live, but Christ consciousness that lives within us. This is the discovery of our true selves in Christ consciousness. Jesus died for us and reconciled us to his Father so Christ consciousness could live in us and unify us with God.

“God has revealed this wisdom to us through the Spirit. The Spirit scrutinizes all matters, even the deep things of God.” —1 Corinthians 2:10

To understand spiritual things, we have to rely totally on the Holy Spirit because the Spirit instructs us in everything (John 14:26), We live in the Spirit and it is the major part if not all of our understanding.
(2 Corinthians 3:15-17) 15Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts. 16But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 17Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

All the Sacred Books are special and are not ordinary writings because they have been inspired by the Holy Spirit and have extremely spiritual and truthful contents. They are mystical and difficult in many ways. If we have the freedom of Spirit, we see this in all the sacred teachings, if not we have a tendency to contract to the one thing we have studied intellectually.

(1 Corinthians 2:10-16) “The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. 11For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man’s spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. 12We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us. 13This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words.[a] 14The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15The spiritual man makes judgments about all things, but he himself is not subject to any man’s judgment:
16″For who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct him?”[b] But we have the mind of Christ.” The mind of Christ I feel can be expressed as Christ consciousness, but many Christians would call this New Age as if it is bad. It is not negative.

God is not separate from anything; He is the Life of our life, the Reality within our own reality and the Soul within our being. Our union with God can be witnessed in our minds starting with the replication of the union between Christ consciousness and God’s pure consciousness. This is the bringing of our own minds and wills into agreement with the mind of Christ, a consciousness where we experience pure consciousness and get submerged in the loving will of God. It starts us on a journey toward a new consciousness where Christ consciousness purifies the mind so it becomes free, not worried and unattached because it doesn’t want its own way, but the Lord’s way. Christ said, “Lord let Thy Will be done.” This simple phrase encourages the thoughtful and focused application of a profound spiritual practice that leads to untold reward by directing the creative force within to pure consciousness. It establishes a deep awareness of our unity with the power of God so we experience a greater good as a result of limiting our negative attitude. This positive awareness applied to specific needs in our daily life changes our circumstances helping us to pass from hardship and desire into a greater freedom than we have ever known. As we enter into a greater consciousness astonishing things happen that we thought were not possible, but we must take an honest look at our negative thoughts and let them go. Having the determination to expand our positive thoughts and take charge of our life will eliminate many problems, negative beliefs and unhappiness. We must have the courage to move forward into Christ consciousness where we are free from pain, desire, fear, conflict and worry. May we all have the freedom of Spirit to not be afraid and research our true being in every corner the Spirit takes us and not cower into tradition, physical symbols or behind people who preach the restricting of Spirit just because it comes from a source we are not accustomed to. The Spirit enters where the door is open and honors a closed mind by not entering where it is not welcome.

Your Answer to Evil Is Worse Than the Problem

The living flame of love does not offend so why do you try to wound my soul
All life is sacred so a call to arms, a holy jihad must be viewed with suspicion
In the heart you would injure, Jesus delicately inspires my love
A peaceful place where love abides and shares with all

Passed from the soul beyond what can be expressed by mouth
I recognize your intentions behind the harsh and angry manner
Eliminating evil, a task within the self, eliminates any barrier to love
Choices examined move towards or away from it

Hellish thinking creates devils and discordant feelings
You have no prejudices, only hatreds based on evidence?
You want to save the world, forcibly bringing me to peace
I remain in tranquility, waiting for you to join

Evil, the lack of love can’t be healed with absence
Hating evil embraces wickedness, increasing it, not diminishing it
Love’s presence is innocent of judgment
Stop outlawing evil, preparing for battle, Christians reach for love

You can’t steal Christ, it is not the last name of Jesus
Judgments demonstrate your mental work not my spirituality
Analyze and see God inside and see Him everywhere
Love and forgiveness is a lifestyle, not a religion

Surrender thinking substituting fear with forgiveness
Releasing currents of anger and destruction
Align the personality with the soul and contact reverence
A gift of the soul making use of our escape from evil bondage

See God Everywhere

Beginning with the knowledge of our oneness with a God that is everywhere in pure consciousness, we open up and build on the concept that God is supreme and the source of all there is. This successful attitude shelters us from the flood of separate experiences in life that drag us down and drown us with a tightfisted attitude. Just like Noah followed directions in the midst of his troubles to build the ark, we can build a balanced state of mind and see the showers of tribulations as a shower of blessings to get stronger. The separation that we encounter on earth is just a time to balance, adjust, heal and redirect the mind to God’s pure consciousness. When we meet life’s challenges constructively, we build an ark of spiritual consciousness that is strong and able to resist negativity because it is situated on a balanced state of mind. This ark of consciousness also rests on the highest peak after the flood because it is consciously aware of the presence of God. We know God is all-powerful and good because He leads us back from the torrent of pessimism that separates and pulls us down to dissolution to a belief in the One Almighty Consciousness that gives courage, strength, comfort and prosperity. Unity is a remedy for the mind, for mental ills and a solution for our difficulties. Making our minds a channel for God’s one pure consciousness pours friendship, health, love and fortune back into this world. This successful attitude in the unity of pure consciousness enables us to function at a much higher level eliminating fear from the body and impurities from the mind, which can cause disease and impede spiritual development. Christian Mysticism

Creative Intelligence

Creative Intelligence is one of the greatest instruments in life intellectually, morally and religiously so it should not be despised or mistrusted. We can enjoy life in this part of the mind rather than contemplate on it in the second layer. Enjoying life in the higher layers is far superior to desiring and learning about it in the lower stratum even though the latter may be of assistance to the former. The all-pervading consciousness of God makes life interesting by designing it to be enjoyed rather than understood.

Ecumenism

Ecumenism is the promotion of unity and cooperation between distinct religious groups and denominations in Christianity and in the larger sense the unity among all religions worldwide. Jesus modeled this by associating with all people and castes. He shows us unity by showing us the silent witness inside that sees the Divine and Beloved in everyone’s eyes. He was not interested in converting people to his way of thinking or selling real estate in heaven, but to guide people who were ready to go deeper into themselves and the spiritual experience of unity. The spiritual experience can’t be taught, but Jesus offered a way to the experience, where God’s pure consciousness could be felt. Jesus showed a path to the ocean of God’s pure consciousness, a journey of transformation to be in harmony. His consciousness takes us beyond the world to an ocean more real than the world of senses. Yes, the Kingdom of heaven where the world of opposites, good and bad does not grow. Jesus cuts through the nonsense that people use to offend, condemn and separate people to comfort the offender and the people offended. He showed us how to watch our own minds and not to judge other minds. The pairs of opposites, good and evil hold us to the shore while Jesus shows us the ocean of pure consciousness, which is the way to the other side beyond the pair of opposites. Jesus told us parables, because one cannot tell people or describe what it is like in heaven beyond the mind in the ocean of pure consciousness. Christ consciousness leads us to it, but it is up to us to dive in to see for ourselves. Jesus does not tell us what to do. He takes us to the edge of possibilities and we choose to dive in or not. He does not seek us out, but assist us when we are ready.

There are many advantages to having a sanctuary within where one can retreat at any time to an ocean of pure consciousness where one is introduced again and again to the joy and peace of pure love. It is in a state of love where one attains a higher awareness and a spiritual experience in the here and now. The higher states of mind exist along side the lower dimensions, but the higher levels are more loving, creative, and inclusive. The Divine wisdom not to judge those that judge and not to exclude those that exclude others comes from the higher layers of the mind. This spirituality is first experienced within then that person sees the divinity within every other person. This witnessing of Divinity is pure love in the here and now. “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

Everywhere energy is found, built up in layers one inside another with the subtlest energy in the innermost stratum accessed by the soul. As our knowledge of Christian mysticism increases we gain access to the inner consciousness of the soul and grow in the understanding of life’s energies. Knowledge of the finer layers of consciousness makes the world more comprehensive and our minds more creative, peaceful and loving so we become better Christians.

We see, hear, taste, smell and feel gross energy, but at the same time we can experience subtle energy. There is a limit to our senses and this boundary marks the experience of gross life because the subtle energy fields are out of our ordinary range of experience. Technology has shown us that there are subtle levels in our world, which we are not aware of because our senses are limited to the gross strata only. In order to experience the finer energies of life, it is necessary to improve our sense of being by aligning with the soul.

Religion has become a matter of family tradition, a moral habit with some social benefit because it appeals to the emotions and the mind, but true religion satisfies the unit consciousness not by words, but by action and reflection. It not only gives emotional energy and intellectual stimulation, but also takes the sincere beyond the mind to experience the soul or unit consciousness. Therefore, one should not be lost in the words alone, but in the experience, the realization of those words. The spoken and written words are not the goal; the end is not in the words themselves because they are just the rule, the standards that show the way to a blissful, loving experience in life. Contemplation teaches without the noise of words because its obvious goal is the intimate union with Christ consciousness. This union with Christ is like a drop of water losing itself in the ocean, yet there are as many approaches to this ocean of pure consciousness as there are Christians, churches and temples.

God within is Unity

God is within each one of us so we should open our consciousness to the unity of God’s pure spiritual consciousness because God reveals Himself in the condition of love, which is a kind of spiritual and physical unity.

The God’s pure consciousness within will show us that God is not far removed from us, but with us in the here and now. Jesus also said this when he gave us the saying; The Kingdom of God is within.

I feel our actions and thoughts within and without resolve themselves in the simplicity of the whole experience, when we focus on our simple unity in God’s pure consciousness and have become acquainted with it so it is apparently outside and within ourselves. This consciousness is witnessed inside, when we know that reality is more than what is observed outside with the senses. Letting go of what is little, we enter into a larger concept of life where there is nothing to fear because we realize that conflict is the result of seeing only in part, not the whole picture.

I firmly believe that religion or rigorous practice can’t be applied with pressure and intimidation because that only brings force and violence, not wisdom so it must be fulfilled with reason, debate and intuition. When religion is left to the conviction and conscience of every person, then one can achieve a balance in this world between positive and negative, good and evil, and also between pleasure and pain. If religion brings fear, hatred, separation or anything that will frighten a child, it is probably not a true practice. Religion should bring reverence and respect for everyone and everything, and it should also not be bent for the rich and powerful because one will see wealth and worldly pleasure as worthless in the higher layers of the mind. The cloak of hypocrisy and self-interest has to be removed so praise and blame can be taken with a calm assurance unaffected by both honor and disgrace. There is no need to limit our possibilities as we open our consciousness to greater receptivity, to an enlarged concept of life as it takes on a fresh and extraordinary interpretation.
Religion should not be used to manipulate people in politics. It should be respected and used internally.

Christian Mysticism

Christianity is reverent and alive if one listens to the call from inside. The dull habit of preaching, giving sermons, patronizing, condemning or judging others as insufficient is the ego talking about Christ, not the religion of Christ. Descriptions about Jesus are not the spiritual ideas Jesus described. The experience of joy and the supernatural realization of Christ are not about sins, hell or Satan, but the glorious energy of the soul. A healer doesn’t rifle through the lives of others, but brings one from the outer personality to the inner-self arousing one from immaturity and prejudice to wholeness.

Christian Mysticism

I feel our intellect, imagination and intuition are vital to the understanding that Jesus is alive in consciousness, which I call Christ Consciousness. The three i’s above point in the direction of God’s pure consciousness so God ceases to be an object and becomes an actual experience. This is where the formless becomes visible and the pure consciousness of God becomes expressed in the unit consciousness of an individual in the form of revelation. We appreciate the teachings of sacred scriptures because they inspire us to rise and go beyond the mind-body-consciousness. The revelations our intellect, imagination, and intuition absorb inspires us to become one with divine harmony and cosmic progression.

Modern revelations of Truth are in complete harmony with the Truth in spiritual scriptures. They come from the same source. Spiritual scriptures and the words from recent revelations enhance and clarify each other. They help us to translate, comprehend, and apply the knowledge in the ancient scriptures.

When one leaves, God visits and leaves behind revelations.
