We see, hear, taste, smell and feel gross energy with the help of our mind, but at the same time we can experience a subtle energy that contributes to a new perspective that opens our mind to a new view point and opportunities. There is a limit to our senses and this boundary marks the experience of gross life because the subtle energy fields are out of our ordinary range of involvement, but they stir up something inside us. Technology has shown us that there are subtle levels in our world, which we are not aware of because our senses are limited to the gross strata only. In order to experience these finer energies of life, it is necessary to improve the sense of being by aligning with the soul in order to witness what is beyond what you see with the five senses. The undetected energies inside and surrounding us have an effect on our being so they need to be comprehended and appreciated. We can do this by phasing in the awareness of our subconscious and unconscious mind in order to reflect on our belief system, our thoughts and the intuitive energies that influence our lives. One does not perceive, comprehend or control the soul because it is not mechanical, but mindfulness of it grows within like a mustard seed in the earth. Slowly but surely as we understand ourselves, the consciousness of the soul is revealed to the unconscious and subconscious because they are the first to approve and support it while it is streaming through all the levels of our existence on the physical plane where changes are made. Our soul is extremely refined, subtle and elusive so it affects our material life by filling our hearts and minds with love and making life very simple. The soul by description is spiritual so it enables us to live our lives wholly or holly above our nature what Christian mystics would call the Supernatural life. The Supernatural life is a spiritual journey leading to an association and relationship with God that should inspire and fill the body with energy. Every set of guidelines in all the holy scriptures in the world are attached to this experience and every practice of the church needs to be concerned with experiencing the Divinity within. The Bible tells us that Jesus said, “And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. (Luke 17:20-21) Many Christians align themselves to the soul through contemplation, service to humanity, deep prayer, Lectio Divina, study of theology, devotion to Jesus or following the lives of the saints and yes centering prayer. There is not a single right way to mature and carry out the work of the soul. Only you know what you love to do so it is up to each one of us to choose and be responsible for what is best for us to engage in to cultivate our energy to its highest degree of application. Identifying with the loving energy of the soul is the Christian thing to do because the positive influence of Christ’s consciousness becomes a purposeful force at the core of our being for change in us and the world. Christ through this inner experience increases our knowledge of the finer strata of existence showing the way to serve by aligning with the soul experience. This perception of subtle consciousness leads the mind to set up the brain as an electrical condenser ready to send energy to any nerve setting appropriate to power action. Energy is communicated and charged to every part of the body aiding nerves, the brain, and contracting muscles to make the mind fruitful, the body whole, and the nerves steady. This vitality, life and power from the clear view of the soul are not entitlements, but an awareness that can be used to uplift the bleak and aide the poor making our mind and purpose stronger so more people can be helped. This may not be for every Christian and that is expected, but there should be no animosity against those who benefit from the Divinity Within and grow closer to God. The soul experience is more than the words and it is unfolding moment to moment, but the experience in the mind is only looking at a part of the experience. Stepping out of the mind or a little back from the picture gives us a little more of the experience or more of the picture of who we are because by repeatedly emptying our mind of who we think we are and forgiving our self allows us to see who we really are. We are moving through an enormous threshold to realize that we are not our mind, but we are the one who observes the mind and its bondage to memories imprinted and held in our body. We have so many aspects to our personality and we are none of them. They are like rooms in our house and we are under house arrest experiencing different feelings and thoughts in the different rooms, but they are only the way we see the things and people in our lives. The mind limits our compassion and love to the small amount of people who are closest to us in the different rooms so to break out of this prison and dissolve these delusions we need to expand our consciousness, love and compassion to include everyone and everything.  We don’t have a soul because we are a soul and with this awareness we will fully develop to love all of existence by quieting the mind from its disturbing thoughts so it can feel and experience the subtle energy in everyone and everything.
